OGDEN — The city has announced restrictions for this year’s firework season.
According to a news release, fireworks and campfires are prohibited in the following areas:
• East of Harrison Boulevard.
• Wooded areas along the Ogden River Parkway, including parks.
• Fort Buenaventura.
• The landfill property near 2550 A Ave.
• Any vacant lot, open field or wooded and brush-covered area throughout the city.
Utahns are allowed to shoot off fireworks from
11 a.m. to 11 p.m. July 1-7 and July 21-27.
Residents can report violations by calling the city’s nonemergency dispatch line, 801-629-8221.
